These 175 Mils, Three Conductor Cable has 2 AWG thru 750 kcmil bare copper conductor. Strand Shield is thermoset semi-conducting shield that is extruded over the conductor. Insulation is Tree-Retardant Cross-Linked Polyethylene [TR-XLPE] and the Insulation Shield consists of a semi-conducting thermosetting layer, applied in a triple extrusion process, plus a helically applied gapped copper tape. The black Inner Jacket is made of flame-retardant, moisture and sunlight-resistant Polyvinyl Chloride [PVC] and the cable has Galvanized Steel Interlocked Armor [GSIA].
These 175 Mils, Three Conductor Cable is used for wiring in all hazardous locations when used with certified HL Cable glands. This cable is a cost-effective alternative to installation in conduit.
