175 Mils, Three Conductor Cable

General Cable offers 175 Mils, Three Conductor Cable. All the products of General Cable are manufactured in accordance to ISO 9001:2000. These 175 Mils, Three Conductor Cable has 2 AWG thru 750 kcmil bare copper conductor. Strand Shield is thermoset semi-conducting shield that is extruded over the conductor. Insulation is Tree-Retardant Cross-Linked Polyethylene [TR-XLPE] and the Insulation Shield consists of a semi-conducting thermosetting layer, applied in a triple extrusion process, plus a helically applied gapped copper tape. The black Inner Jacket is made of flame-retardant, moisture and sunlight-resistant Polyvinyl Chloride [PVC] and the cable has Galvanized Steel Interlocked Armor [GSIA].

These 175 Mils, Three Conductor Cable is used for wiring in all hazardous locations when used with certified HL Cable glands. This cable is a cost-effective alternative to installation in conduit. This Three Conductor Cable has typical vertical installations in mine shafts, tall commercial buildings, inclined tunnels and vertical cable trays. The 175 Mils, Three Conductor Cable is rated at 90°C wet or dry, with jacket under the armor [inner jacket] that is designed with longitudinal raised ribs. The 175 Mils, Three Conductor Cable meets cold bend and impact tests at -40°C.
