2,4-Dichloro Phenoxy Acetic Acid Ethyl Ester is soluble in aromatic hydrocarbon and insoluble in water. Phenoxy Acetic Acid Ethyl Ester has an aromatic odour and can melt at 136°C to 140°C temperature range. The Ethyl Ester is used mainly in the formulation of herbicidal formulations like Ethyl Ester 38% E.C., Ethyl Ester 20% WP for the weeding in cereals and other crops. 2,4-Dichloro Phenoxy Acetic Acid Ethyl Ester is offered in a colourless to brown liquid form at ordinary temperature and consists of maximum 0.1% suspended solids.
