The door has a changeable hold-open time. It can be used for right and left hand single-action doors with leaf widths up to 1400 mm and a weight up to 250 kg. It can also be used with smoke and fire-proof doors. The closing speed and latching action are amendable. A safety valve prevents deliberate overloading. The closer is approved by the German Institute for Building Technology in combination with recognized smoke detection systems.
