Blowdown Flash Vessel

Forbes Marshall is an ISO 9001 certified company that offers the Blowdown Flash Vessel. The Blowdown Flash Vessel is related to the Blowdown Heat Recovery Units. Blowdown Flash Vessel is a specially designed vessel for handling blow down water at required pressure and temperature. The design ensures easy separation of flash steam at low velocities. The Blowdown Flash Vessel has accessories such as Safety Valves, Pressure Gauges, and Disc Check Type NRV at Flash Steam Outlet and Ball Float Trap at the outlet of blow down water. Ball Float Trap ensures that no flash steam goes to the heat exchanger and maintains the pressure balance. All components are properly sized depending on the blowdown parameters. Blowdown flash vessel is manufactured to specifications of Indian Boiler`s Regulation [IBR] Act with IBR certification. SS Heat Exchanger is part of the system meant to use the heat from blowdown water coming out of Flash Vessel and pre-heat the soft water going to the feedwater tank. Flash steam from the Flash Vessel is taken to the Flash Steam Distributor fitted at the end of flash line inside the feed water tank. Flash distributor mixes the flash steam evenly and heats the feed water in the tank. Thermostat and soft water circulation pump detects the flow of blowdown water and starts the circulation of soft water in the Heat Exchanger.
