Cable jointing compounds are manufactured from two components in cold cured system. The Compound has to be mixed in the ratio of 5:1. The general properties of the system are moderate exothermic, Low shrinkable, excellent impact, heat and shock resistance, no settling of compound on long storage, resistance to dilute acids, alkalies organic solvents and transformer oils. The compound is ideally used in cable jointing kits for XLPC/PVC/PILC cables, both for low voltage and medium voltage.
