Amit Capacitors offers a range of SHMPP dry type capacitors for power factor improvement - MS body 3 terminal type modular construction. This design is suitable for medium load industrial application. These are available in range: 10 KVAR to 25 KVAR, 440/415 V. Features: product life is going up to 80.000 hours; the capacitors are ISI approved and conforming to IS 13340/13341 standards; chemically treated for rust and powder coated; tin-plated terminal stud which can with-stand with the electrical properties; universal mounting design; and comprehensive and economical product range. Advantages: reduction in KVAR demand - this reduces excess power drawn from the sources; substantial saving in power cost and efficient operation of the plants; reduction in voltage drop - this improves performance of electrical equipment; reduction in line losses; hence the efficiency of transformer, switchgears and cable shell increase; all these result in availability of more power; maintenance free. Note: while banking the units it should be ensured that the total current in the bus bar never exceeds 63 A.
