The product has uniformity and minimum loss of reactivity in storage. It has low water content which helps in reducing Gel Coat porosity. Its low volatility reduces odour and saves the product. This Clear Methyl Ethyl Ketone Peroxide can be stored for a long duration without loss of activity. The addition of 0.1percentage to 0.5percentage cobalt naphthanate or octoate to unsaturated polyester resin followed by the addition of 1-2percentage Clear Methyl Ethyl Ketone Peroxide results in cure at room temperature.
