Commercial Purpose Micro-Crystalline Wax is used as a base for chewing gum, lipstick, cold creams, ointments where it hardens, lubricates, carries additives and protects against moisture. The Micro-Crystalline Wax contains oil content in a maximum range of 10.0%.
The Micro-Crystalline Wax is suitable for increasing the fluidity and the flexible bonding of hot-melt adhesives. Commercial Purpose Micro-Crystalline Wax can also be used in food packaging giving protection against moisture through wax impregnated paper, film, foil and corrugated board.
