Product Profile of Dc Motor Drives
Instrumental Electronics offers DC motor drives, Series DCD 8000. These are thyristorised, analogue DC motor drives used for DC motors above 5 HP rating. These consists of standard features as given below:
- soft start,
- isolated field supply,
- trips and alarms for under/over voltage,
- average over current,
- instantaneous over current,
- field failure,
- negative phase sequence, along with the option of armature or tacho feedback, and
- work in constant torque mode.
Variable speed is achieved either through a potentiometer or through process signal. Power supply requireed is 3-phase/415 V AC.
