Product Profile of Electric/ Hand Operated Overhead Travelling Crane
Electric/ Hand Operated Overhead Travelling Crane has bridge girders of plate welded box type design to sustain all stresses arising due to vertical and lateral forces with impact. The Crane has end carriages made using rolled steel section with suitable diaphragms and stiffeners to give strong construction and rubber buffers are provided on both sides of end carriages to absorb jerks. The Crane has end stoppers provided on either side of the bridge to limit the cross travel motion of the hoist/ crab and mild steel made chequered plate/ anti skid plate platform is provided for full length on one side of the bridge girder. The Crane has gear boxes made using accurate hob cut helical/ spur gears and pinions having hardness ranging from 250 to 350 BHN made from carbon alloy steel. The Electric/ Hand Operated Overhead Travelling Crane has the feature that all gears and pinions running on antifriction type ball/ roller bearings in totally enclosed oil bath giving constant splash lubrication.
