Stylex has launched an energy-efficient emergency light that can be used when mains power fails. The illumination source on the device is a 5W CFL that gives more than four hours of light. The SMPS-based electronic charging circuit has built-in safeguards against over-charging and deep discharging of its 6V, 4.5AH SMF battery. The charger, supplied with the unit, is adapter type having an input range of 100V to 270V AC.
