Heat and Fire Resistant Sleeves protect hoses, cables and wires from molten metal splash, high heat hazards and occasional exposure to flame. These Sleeves are provided with heavy coating that can shed molten metal splash immediately, so very little heat transfer occurs. These Sleeves find application in steel plants, glass plants, foundries, cutting and welding shops and wherever hoses, cables and wires that may be exposed to high heat or occasional flame up to 3000 degree F or 1600 degree C. These Sleeves are completely asbestos free and environmentally safe. Heat and Fire Resistant Sleeves reflect 90% radiant heat generated form furnaces.
