Walter, Germany manufactures Helitronic Power Universal Tool Grinding Machine. This machine is mainly applicable for grinding cutting tools, wood working tools, profile and farm tools. Also end mills, step drills, counter sinks, etc, can be reground and manufactured. A special feature of the machine is rigid and compact gantry design, two spindle ends for two individual wheel sets without additional cost, circular construction for operator accessibility, modern SERCOS drive technology with speeds up to 80 metres/min. The machine is equipped with heliprobe measuring and positioning system with which tools are automatically measured and positioned. This results in a reduced set up time and increased tool accuracy. The machine is equipped with new CNC control HMC 400 for speed, flexibility and operator comfort. A wide variety of software package is available for grinding various form tools. There is a special multi grinding method which offers a multitude grinding to customise and optimise grinding process.
