These new generation Ultrafiltration membranes developed and manufactured by Permionics are Hydrophilic PolyetherSulphone membranes with a Thin Film Oxidation Resistant Layer. These membranes have a higher flux and a sharper MWCO, than the equivalent unmodified membranes of the same MWCO.

Type HFUF 15, Flux [LMH] at 50 psi 80-100, MWCO:15-20 KD, Applications:? Concentration of proteins,Whey fractionation, Gelatine concentration.

These membranes are more rugged than Unmodified PES UF membranes in terms of
Chlorine tolerance : 5 ppm continuous; 100 ppm shock cleaning
Thermal stability : Max 90 deg C operation
Chemical stability : 2-11 pH in operation and cleaning
Solvent resistance : Compatible with low mol. wt alcohols
Cleaning formula : Same as a PES UF membrane
