Product Profile of High Speed Twinning Machine
The High Speed Twinning Machine is direct haul off type and is with a motorized, pay-off, unit having regeneration tension control system. The High Speed Twinning Machine consists of two independent DC motor driven, dancer controlled pay-off units and the main machine with two DC motors, one permanent magnet motor for the take-up Bobbin Drive and one DC motor for Bow Drive. Usha Martin Industries Limited manufactures High Speed Twinning Machine.
Usha Martin Industries Limited is the supplier of steel wires, wire ropes and other related products, wire drawing and allied machines; and wire, wire rope and cable machinery. In High Speed Twinning Machine, pintle opening and closing is done pneumatically. Pay-off is provided with dancer mechanism to ensure constant tension, monitored by potentiometers. Pneumatic brake is provided for stopping the bow and the electro-magnetic brakes for driven payoffs. The main machine consists of statically balanced take up cradle, mounted on anti-friction bearings on either ends. Bearing housings are fabricated. The bows made of carbon fibre are dynamically balanced. Cable is guided throughout the bow through ceramic/TC bushes.
Key Features of High Speed Twinning Machine
- Bobbin lifting and lowering for the take up is by a hydraulic mechanism. Even winding is achieved through U-Hinge traverse mechanism.
- The machine is enclosed in a sound-proof guard with cooling provision. Main sliding guards are electrically inter-locked and side doors are provided for entry and exit of the bobbins.
- To ensure perfect tension all motors are controlled through DC and thyristor modules.
- The speed of the bow and lay length setting are achieved by a remote control device installed outside the machine. Operation pendant and control panel can be installed near the machine and are easily accessible.
