Hindustan Motor Manufacturing Co manufacturesoffers high-efficiency motors. These high-efficiency motors are available in frame sizes from 56 to 315 in 2, 4, 6 and 8-pole designs. These motors are suitable Ffor continuous [s 1] duty with ambient temperature of 45?C and site altitudes of up to 1000 metres above mean sea level, these motors are best suited. All motors are fitted with external bi-directional cooling fans. Some of the technical features of these motors consists of: They are developedsigned for 3-phase, 415 ?10 per cent 50 Hz ?5 per cent with combined variation to 10 per cent. Motors up to 2 HP are star connected with 6 leads. Any other voltage and/or frequency is available on request. These high efficieny motors conform to IS:325, IEC-34, pert 1 and BS: 4999 for electrical specifications and IS:1231 for mechanical dimensions. Standard location of the terminal box is on top. However for frme sizes 90 to 315, the terminal box on right or left side can be provided on request. The terminal box can be rotated in steps of 90-degrees in each position. Motors up to 2 HP are star connected with 6 leads. The motors are designed for low noise levels in accordance with 15: 12065. Type of cooling is 1C 0141 in accordance with IS:6362. All motors are fitted with external bi-directional cooling fans.
