Product Profile of Industrial Grade Colourless Butadiene
Industrial Grade Colourless Butadiene is used in the production of various types of polymer resins, synthetic rubbers, and chemical intermediates and is found as a item in the steam cracking of naphtha and gas oil to make ethylene and propylene. The Butadiene is extracted from the C4 cracker stream using extractive distillation and is a colour less, non corrosive liquefied gas with a mild aromatic or gasoline-like odour. The Butadiene has low flash point that makes it both flammable and explosive. The Industrial Grade Colourless Butadiene is used in polymers and elastomers such as ABS, SBR and SB latex, and polybutadiene rubber.
Application of Industrial Grade Colourless Butadiene:
Polymer resins
Synthetic rubbers, and chemical intermediates
Polymers and elastomers such as abs, sbr and sb latex
Polybutadiene rubber.
Paper coating, such as on glossy magazines and brochures.
Used in carpet backing, and construction such as bitumen additive and adhesive for roofing
