Product Profile of Insulation Tester
Meco Instruments offers a range of insulation testers. The triple range digital insulation tester, Model MIS-3D, made in Japan, has the following ranges: 250 V-50 MOhm, 500 V-100 MOhm and 1000 V-2000 MOhm. The minimum measurable resistance at rated voltage is 0.25 MOhm, 0.5 MOhm and 1 MOhm, respectively; rated current: 1mA + 20- 0 percent; max rated voltage [no load]:+ 30-0 percent; and short circuit current < 2 mA. Key features: big digital and bargraph LCD display with backlight enables easy observation, especially useful when working in dark places; hands free and continuous measurements with custom made switch; safe design with built in automatic discharging function for any capacitors present in the circuit; and data hold and auto power-off function. Key specifications: display 33/4 digit LCD with bargraph; max reading of 3200 count with annunciators; response time less than 5 sec [auto ranging]. The instrument meets EN 50081-1 and EN 50082-1 [1992].
