Product Profile of Inverter Based Welding Machine
Electro Plasma Equipments has introduced an IGBT based inverter welding machine, Model Klein Schweisser 150 TIG. It is called a miniature welder as it weighs only 20 kg. It operates at 90% duty cycle continuously at the full load current of 150 A and together conserves 80% electricity. Features of this machine are as follows:
- indigenous machine for MMA and TIG welding;
- integrated electronic power source using IGBT technology;
- requires single phase 230 V AC supply;
- welding current adjustable from 5 A to 150 A enabling welding even on thin [0.5 mm] sheets;
- good arc stability;
- right open circuit voltage and inbuilt electronic hot start for MMA welding to assure the arc heats up immediately [no sticking of electrodes];
- automatic built in electronic soft start for TIG welding, which limits the current generated in the initial stage;
- TIG start up with electronic high frequency, the high frequency is automatically disconnected when the arc is ignited thus limiting the emission of radio interference;
- setting of post gas timing from 2 seconds to 20 seconds; and
- manufactured to meet highest standards for safety and reliability.
