Copper conductor, medium density polythelene insulated, cabling filled with high purity water resistant jelly compound, taped, flooded with harder grade jelly compound, poly al tape, low density poly ethylene inner sheathed etc and suited for telecommunication industry.
Jelly Filled Telephone Cables comes with:
Conductor: Solid plain anneated high conductivity copper wire of nominal diameter 0.32, 0.4, 0.50, 0.63, 0.90 mm
Insulation: Solid or Foam skin extruded polyethylene insulation grade stabilized. 100 % vergin material and colored as per requirement.
Pair: Two insulated conductors of specified colors twisted together with pre-determined lay to form a pair. The cross talk is minimized.
Cabling: For cable above 100 pair cable, the required number of super units is stranded to form a cable core. - The cable core is fully filled with jelly [water resistance compound] which is compatible with the insulation.- The filled cable core is wrapped with a tape & the flooding compound is applied.
Screen: An aluminum tape coated both side with polyethylene is applied longitudinally with overlap over the cable core. The laminated Aluminum tape is sealed at the overlap & bounded to the inner surface of the extruded polyethylene sheath over screen.
