Magal Engineering presents laser-cutting system. Orion is a hybrid design featuring simple mechani-cal structure combined with a proven GE Fanuc laser resona-tor offered in 2 kW or 4 kW. The laser system accommodates sheet sizes up to 3000 x 1500 mm and can cut up to 16 mm mild steel. Travel speeds and acceleration ensures reliable machine performance with maximum positioning speed of 100 m/min. Some standard features of laser cutting system include a 5" and 7.5" - cutting head with crash protection, automatic cutting gas selection, easy focus adjustment, and capacitive sensor. The machine is equipped with a GE-Fanuc 16iLB CNC control, which provides perfect reproduction of programming contours.
