The LH-109 has an alloy basis of Iron, Chromium, Manganese, Molybdenum & Nickel

The weld metal is ductile & tough & is impact resistant
It has a UTS of 65 kfg/sq.mm & elongation of 35%.Hardness of 19RC with a 130% metal recovery
The LH-109 is used for welding stainless steels to carbon steels, low alloy steels, cast steels & austenitic manganese steel parts. Depositing stainless tough overlay on cast steel parts. Rebuilding of impellers, shafts, valve faces & seats & turbine lads to provide resistance to heat, abrasion, erosion & corrosion.
