Product Profile of Liquid Filters
Kumar Ultrafine Filters produces a wide range of specialty filters for cost effective and fine filtration of liquids, air and gases in the process and pharma industries as well as research centres. The Air and Gas series include a range of high efficiency oil/dirt removing coalesces, Air Sterilization Filters and general purpose air/gas filters. Among the Liquid Filtration series are continuous wound depth filters, pleated membranes, sintered metals and so on, which are compatible with almost all the industrial liquids and solvents.
Depth Filters are designed with continuous wound and pleated cartridges that are suitable for depth filtration of a wide variety of industrial fluids. The materials of construction include cotton, nylon, viscose polyester, fibreglass and polypropylene.
Kumar`s exclusive range of Sterile Membrane Filters are made of either hydrophobic PTFE, PES membranes suitable for non polar solutions, or hydrophilic Nylon 66 for water and polar solutions down to 0.1 micron. They serve a wide spectrum of applications including process water, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, electronic fluids, photographic solutions, food and beverages, cosmetics, etc. The salient features of the product are,
Maximum chemical compatibility of material.
Longer service life with improved quality products.
Higher flow rates with lesser pressure drops.
Various end cap configurations available as per international codes with `O` rings in Buna `N`, Viton, Silicon, encapsulated PTFE, etc
Kumar`s Sintered Stainless Steel Filters are used as pre filters for gases and liquids. It is ideal for 100% catalyst recovery and similar applications.
Kumar metallic filters offer particle retention upto 0.5 microns with higher solids capacity and strength. These are permanent filters with easy backwash ability. The salient features of the Sintered Stainless Steel Filters are,
Suitable for high pressure and temperature applications.
Regeneration possible with 100% removal of captured solids, by resorting to specified regeneration guidelines.
Fully welded construction with no filtrate bypass.
Totally closed operation and Backwashing. No operator exposure to the products.
Reduced downtime. Blow down or backwash can be completed within a short time.
