Rune Polytronics supplies a range of electronic process control instruments and systems. The dedicated logic controller is an economical alternative to PLC + MMI which can perform almost all minimum required functions of a PLC. The front facia has a bright 5-digit 7-segment red LED display, which can be used to indicate process value/timing/ counter reading as well as fault codes. The unit is micro-controller based and hence with little modifications in software, it can be used to perform different applications at very less changeover time. Standard features include 8 digital inputs/outputs, potential-free relay contacts, 5 large membrane key switches for data entry/function keys, and status indicating LEDs. Input/output expandability is an added advantage. Optionally analogue inputs or high-speed inputs can be configured. Also optional serial PC interface.
