The Methyl Ethyl Ketone Peroxide is a clear oily liquid applied as a polymerization catalyst for unsaturated polyester resin type systems. It features low water content reducing Gel Coat porosity. This chemical can be stored for a long time without loss of activity. The addition of 0.1percentage to 0.5percentage cobalt naphthanate or octoate [6 percentage solution] to unsaturated polyester resin followed by the addition of 1 - 2percentage results in cure at room temperature.
