Advanced Microtech provides u-MPD, a microcomputer-based motor protection device. Salient features: separate indicator for fault annunciation single phase [in partial load as well], phase reversal, unbalance, overload and under load [dry run] protection: in-built auto sensing star delta timer [on motor current]: extra wide range [with single turn] to reduce inventory and maintenance - I -10 A, 7-20 A: and provides accurate overload protection by virtue of high release time accuracy.
Other features: separate indicator for fault annunciation [SPP. UL. OL, Ub. Ph-r]; highly accurate tripping curve for full range of setting: in partial load for single phasing, accurate time for tripping action, that increases motor life; unbalance current protection [if the difference between any 2 phase > 40 percent ]; three CTs for 3-phase measurement instead of two CTs; extra wide range for set current [with single turn], i.e., [I to 10 A and 7 to 20 A] so. no inventory-, trip band is 1 percent and absolutely no nuisance tripping.
