Product Profile of Motor Soft Start/reverse Solid State Relay
Motor soft start/reverse solid-state relay from Electronic Relays [India] is fully solid-state relay. These are compact and specially designed to meet industrial safety standards.
It incorporates a PICmicro microcontroller that is immune to normal EMI and RFI.
The 3-phase reference is derived from RYB phases. The voltage is applied to the load by phase angle control resulting in soft start. On achieving the full voltage, the SSR`s is in complete conduction. The user can get reversal by changing the sequence of RYB applied to the load. It is capable of handling motor loads of 0.12 to 3 kW. The outputs of the SSR are back-to-back SCRs, which can handle inductive loads and has high immunity to false turn-on and positive turn-off at high dv/dt.
This relay consists of two control inputs, one for running the motor in the clockwise direction and the other to run it in the anti-clockwise direction. The relay has a built-in interlocking facility in case of application of both the inputs [forward and reverse] happen simultaneously.
