He had a grand and unique vision but after a commercial flop retired from directing and only appeared as an actor or writer. He often had Mohammed Rafi and Hemant Kumar sing his parts in the films. Enigmatic is a well-compiled set, covering all his great films. Though, Guru Dutt died young but he left a great legacy in films. Enigmatic is a fine tribute to him.
