Over Based Calcium Sulphonate is manufactured from Sulphonic acid, produced from synthetic base stock, acting calcium as soap. The Calcium Sulphonate is used in manufacture of greases, rust preventive compounds in gasoline and diesel engine oils to control piston deposits and hydraulic oils as detergent additive. The Calcium Sulphonate is used in formulation of metal working fluids- rust preventives giving good high resistance to humidity and salt water spray test. Over Based Calcium Sulphonate is also used as emulsifies in pesticide.
