Kali SRP Technologies Pvt Ltd offersmanufactures Damini, a microprocessor controlled, completely indigenous, high speed, small-component, pick and place robot for feeding components into presses, other machine tools, inspection units and for assembly operations. Damini is a 3-degree of freedom robotic -system which automatically loads components from the hopper to the machine zone. In the hopper, the components are stacked manually and brought automatically one at a time to the pick position of the robot. Components can be unloaded from the machine by Damini itself or the component can be pneumatically or otherwise ejected. The four sub-systems LAM, End effector, Hopper and the gripper provide the 3 [1/2] degrees of freedom. Damini can load up to 16,000 components in an 8-hour shift, roughly 3 times the average [per shift] loading speed of a human operator. Damini feeds components weighing up to 250 g to a metal forming/cutting machine/press, at a speed of above 36 loadings/unloading per minute and has a repeatability of better than 30 microns.
