Hexagon Metrology [India] supplies Sigma, a state-of-the-art portable CMM from Romel available in 9 different lengths up to 5200 mm. Sigma is the ideal tool for quality inspection, reverse engineering, non-contact tube measurement and even laser scanning with the revolutionary Romer rotary laser scanner, G-Scan RX2. It features very high accuracy, Ethernet communication, high reliability thanks to a strong and unique mechanical design, carbon fibre arms for more lightness and thermal stability; and patented infinite rotation. Other new features: integrates WBP [wireless battery pack], a wireless communication device with a long-life battery for maximum portability no more cables connecting the arm to the computer; compatible with PC-DMIS and the Romer suite of software products - G-Pad, G- Tube, G-Scan Light; available for measuring lengths 1800, 2200, 2500, 2800, 3000, 3200, 3600, 4600, and 5200 mm; G-Scan RX2, the latest scanning probe from Romer, is used with Sigma 6-axis measuring arms; VPS extending arm reach to very large volumes, an exclusive Romer solution for the measurement of large and very large components. A grid of electronic sensors is sunk into a concrete, walkable floor and properly mapped.
