Chitra Machineries manufactures an efficient and versatile RIBBON BLENDER that is useful for homogenous mixing of dry granules and powders. Only two-third filling of this Ribbon Blender volume ensures proper mixing and provides best mixing result due to the design and shape of mixing ribbon and product container. These Ribbon Blender find applications in Pharmaceutical, Food, Chemical and Cosmetic products etc industries. These Ribbon Blenders are available with construction features like port/ports on top cover charges the material as well as for air vent; one discharge valve at the bottom side at container center; discharge height could be adjust as per requirement so that material gets discharge in the other container directly and handling time for discharge is nil and operation is dust free; powder moves from center to the end of container and end of container to the center of container; and total mixing time requirement is less thereby lessening down the RPM. The shape & movement of ribbon & shape of the container moves dry material continuously for good quality of blending. The Ribbon Blender unit comprises of one electrical motor, one worm reduction gear, belt drive between motor and gear, couple drive between gears to [ribbon] mixing stirrer, Container having four legs with discharge valve & top cover, bush & PTFE gland housing sealed both end of mixing shaft, and safety guards on all moving parts. Some of the salient features of this Ribbon Blender includes SS 304/SS 316 or SS 316L quality material contact parts; safe operation; inching facility of stirrer for material discharge; full cover on the top of the container; operating panel for safe operation; butterfly or sliding valve centrally located for material discharge; dust proof top cover with the window; mild structure made and painted general structure in standard model and the same claded with SS 304 in GMP model; SS 304 made safety covers and guards in GMP model and the same in mild steel for standard model; mild steel legs painted in standard model and the same claded with SS 304 in GMP model; Panel with three phase indication in 500 litres and bigger models; small model with DOL starter for on-off operation of the motor; emergency stop on the panel; digital timer for batch time setting; Ampere meter for indications of motor load in ampere; limit switch for safety; and inching push button with selector switch for inching.
