The LHP brand increased safety Ex `e` and Non-sparking Ex `n` motors are suitable for zone-2 classification of hazardous area. These are manufactured as per IS: 1231/IS: 2223, IS: 9628, IS: 6381 and IS: 325. These products are tested at CMRI, Dhanbad, and approved by the Chief Controller of Explosives, Nagpur.
The components of these motors are made of cast iron, with `F` class insulation and the temperature rise is limited as per IS: 6381/9628. The windings are impregnated with insulating varnish and baked.
