SEBstar HTL is a bacterial alpha amylase which hydrolyses alpha 1,4glucosydic linkages of amylase and amyl pectin units of starch even at temperatures as high as 110 C .
Therefore SEBstar HTL has strong liquefaction capacity.
SEBstar HTL is used to liquefy starch to produce dextrins in distilleries as an intermediate step in the manufacture of alcohol.
The process can be controlled easily by controlling the dosage, starch quality, dry solid concentration and other process parameters.
