Silica based Insulating Refractory Board comprises of a series of insulating boards fitted in a modular fashion over the permanent refractory lining of the tundish. The Insulating Refractory Board is an ideal system for steel makers casting less critical steel grades for construction and general engineering applications. The Insulating Refractory Board ensures easy and quick skull removal. The Silica based Insulating Refractory Board do not require any preheating before use and behaves as a refractory lined tundish heated to 1150 degree C.
