The Silos and Storage Tank work as a hopper to unload sugar and other similar materials and to deliver them by truck to the factory with out touching the ground.
Key Features of Silos and Storage Tank
- Materials from ship are loaded to the hopper using the butterfly type closed grab crane
- 2 M.T. capacity jumbo bags hooked to the bag holding system provided with the hopper moves upwards and downwards using pneumatically operated cylinders
- Once the bags [2 bags at a time] are positioned, the discharging valve gate opens using pneumatic cylinder
- Valves close after filling of bags
- Option also provided for timers to close the valves by setting the time required for filling 2 M.T. of sugar or any similar kind materials
- Once set of 2 bags are filled, the bag holders move downwards to the pre positioned trucks
- Similar process is repeated for further loading and unloading process
