Single/ Double Drum Friability Test Apparatus is used to determine the durability and abrasiveness of tablets. The Friability Test Apparatus is provided with transparent perplex drum [made of Perspex sheet 6.4 mm thick] in 300mm diameter X 35mm depth and white cover disc and nut. The Friability Test Apparatus has a shaped radial fixed blade which carries the tablets along with it up to the central height and lets them off while the drum is rotating. Single/ Double Drum Friability Test Apparatus rotates at a fixed speed of 30 RPM by a geared motor and the rotation period is controlled by a timer.
