These slitting tools are made with the finest alloy steel and precision ground to close tolerances. In order to provide high quality slitting, metal and rubberised spacers are manufactured from ball bearing quality steel. Every tool is precision ground to give perfect squareness. These slitting line tooling are manufactured in two grades of tolerances, ie, precision and extra precision. Standard grade of tolerance is made for slitting strip above 1 mm thickness, whereas for slitting thin foils up to 0.2 mm thickness extra precision grade of tolerance with lapping is recommended.
