The Oil is used as an insecticide in ayurvedic system of medicines and also as a stimulant, emetic, nauseant, stomachic, aromatic, expectorant, carminative, antispasmodic, and nervine sedative. The Steam is useful in mental ailment and has insecticidal activity that is used in combination with neem oil, cedar wood oil as room sprayer against house hold insect. Distilled Essential Oil is offered in yellow to brown colour.
