Water Treatment Dissolved Air Floatation removes suspended solids by using air to create a blanket of sludge at the surface of a floatation cell. Dissolved Air Floatation works by dissolving air in to the waste water and then releasing the air at atmospheric pressure in a floatation tank. Water Treatment Dissolved Air Floatation forms tiny bubbles which adhere to the suspended solids, causing the particles tofloat at the surface of the water where it is then removed by a skimming mechanism.
