Wet Tantalum Capacitor

Vishay Intertechnology has announced a newprovides wet tantalum high-energy capacitor that is claimed to offer the highest capacitance of any similar device on the market. The capacitor, named HE3, features a case design with SuperTan technology for improved reliability and performance in high-energy applications. The design features a double seal for improved reliability and performance, while providing a capacitance range of 3300 uF to 72,000 uF.

Optimised for energy storage and pulse power applications in high-reliability avionics and military devices, Vishay`s HE3 is housed in an all-tantalum, hermetically-sealed case and is manufactured to withstand high stress and hazardous environments. The design features a double seal for improved reliability and performance, while providing a capacitance range of 3300 uF to 72,000 uF.
