Wind- Solar Hybrid Systems are mainly designed for supplying power to remote, rural and non-powered villages. These Hybrid Systems consist of different components like wind aerogenerators, solar photovoltaic panels, guyed or self-supporting type tower for wind aerogenerator. These Hybrid Systems also contains power centre controller for wind and solar, normally deep discharge tubular plate type or valve regulated lead acid type battery bank, inverter and cabling. Wind- Solar Hybrid Systems are provided with power meter at utility to record the generation.
