Yellow Coloured Food Dye consists essentially of trisodium 5-hydroxy-1-[4-sulfonatophenyl] [4-sulfonatophenylazo]-H-pyrazole-3-carboxylate and subsidary colour matters. The Food Dye also contains sodium chloride and/or sodium sulfate as the principal uncoloured components. Yellow Coloured Food Dye is used in soft drinks and beverages, pickles, sauces and seasonings.
