Global-Tech offers a wide range of compact switch mode power supplies [single phase as well as three phase], from Muff Elektronik GmbH, Germany. In these power supplies, the input voltage is rectified, smoothed and converted to high frequency AC. This is further transformed to a lower voltage by a small and highly efficient ferrite cored transformer, and further stabilized. The advantages are high power to size and weight ratios. Following combinations are available in these power supplies: single phase - 1] Input: 96-265 V AC, Output: 24 V DC/3 A, 5 A, 10 A, 20 A; and2] Input : 185-265 V AC, Output : 24 V DC/10 A, 20 A; three phase - 1] Input: 340-460 V AC, Output: 24 V DC/10 A, 20 A; and 2] Input : 360-550 V AC, Output: 24 V DC/10 A, 20 A, 40 A.
