Key Features of Cyclone Steam Separators
- It slices the steam water mixture into thin streams
- This allows the steam bubbles to travel only small distances through the mixture for becoming disengaged
- Then these bubbles spin the mixture in a circular path. This creates a centrifugal force, which is many times greater than the force of gravity. It removes small water droplets from the steam by providing a chain of changes in direction along with a large surface area for intercepting the droplets
