ProSoft Technology, Inc supplies ProfiBus DPV1 master connectivity for Quantum processors. This unique, inrack module allows Quantum users to easily interface with up to 125 ProfiBus DPVO/1 slave-compatible devices. The ProfiBus DPV1 Master module for Schneider Electric`s Quantum platform provides a user-friendly connectivity solution for Quantum users to connect to PROFIBUS DP slaves. It acts as a ProfiBus network scanner, providing high-speed transfer of cyclic I/O data between ProfiBus devices and the processor memory table, over the backplane. The ProfiBus module for Quantum [PTQ-PDPMV1] is the ideal solution for many applications where ProfiBus slave communication is required in a Quantum/Unity system. The ProfiBus master module has been designed to address the expanding interest in connectivity between Schneider Electric and ProfiBus in industrial applications such as manufacturing, packaging, water/ \later, what and oil and gas applications. Featured benefits support of the DP version 1 [DPV1] allowing virtually ed cyclic data for online parameterisation, alarming and ed diagnostics; configuration of 1536 bytes of input and bytes of output cyclic data; support for all standardized rates, up to 12 Mbps; RS485 optically isolated ProfiBus interface; multiple modules can be placed in a single rack up to a f 6 NOM style modules in-rack; and JIG certified FDT/DTM comDTM software available.
