Niclosamide is used to treat broad or fish tapeworm, dwarf tapeworm, and beef tapeworm infections. Niclosamide may also be used for other tapeworm infections. Konar Organics Ltd. manufactures Niclosamide.

They are sometimes destroyed in the intestine. The chemical is sparingly soluble in acetone and slightly soluble in ethanol, practically insoluble in water.
